Lunch and Learn

Designed as an interactive forum, Rep. Debbie Myers-Martin welcomed guests to the SCTEC Lunch & Learn. The event in October 2024 proved to be a productive gathering of south suburban education executives, elected officials, mayors and township leaders who dove deep into the vision for the ground-breaking career center.

Under the banner of ” Building ConneCTEd Communities,” the group gathered at Southland College Prep Charter High School in Richton Park to hear encouraging words from supportive elected officials like Illinois Rep. Debbie Myers-Martin, view architectural renderings, hear directly from students and to discuss the next steps in the action plan to bring the SCTEC to life.
